I have been creating mosaics for about 12 years. Beginning with wall hangings and various flat pieces I migrated into furniture embellishments. By inlaying my designs into functional pieces it creates an unusual and endearing heirloom. Lately I have been expanding the glass inlays with a contination of design in acrylics. This is tedious work but a terrific outlet for me. Most of my time is spent with my two boys so I have included them as well. They both seem very understanding of mom's need to be creative.
